Travel Like A True Nomad

For most people, traveling doesn't just come to them naturally; they end up spending a lot of time learning tips and tricks along the way. However, the more of those tips and tricks you can learn ahead of time, the sooner you can begin enjoying the benefits of being a great traveler. This means you will be able to get much more out of each traveling experience. You will be able to have a great time and spend less money while you do it. Here are some tips and advice you want to follow that an experienced nomad would want you to know.

Bring a washcloth no matter where you go

It doesn't matter if you are going for a walk in the down town area, going on a hike in nature, or going parasailing, you should have a washcloth on you. There are many uses for a washcloth and you won't know about all of them until you find yourself in different scenarios where your washcloth comes in handy. You can use it as a napkin, use it to cool your face down with cool water, use it to keep sweat from getting in your eyes, use it to dry off sweaty palms to grip something better, or use it for literally hundreds of other reasons.

Have an extra pair of socks

Socks are the one thing you want to be sure you bring. When you are going to be doing a lot of walking, hiking, possibly crossing streams, and doing a lot of sweating, you will be so thankful for that extra pair of fresh socks.

Carry two credit cards

You never want to be in the position of having your wallet get lost or stolen and now you have access to none of your money. When you have two cards with you, always keep them separate, and if one gets lost or stolen, call the number on the back of the other to report the missing one as missing. Now, you still have one with you, so you can access your funds as needed.

Have copies of your important documents

You want to have two sets of your important documents, such as your driver's license, passport, and insurance cards. Just like with your credit cards, you are also going to want to keep these things in separate locations.

Download a language translation app

If you are going somewhere where your language won't be the primary language, then you want to download a language translation app on your phone. You will say what you want in the phone and the phone will translate what you said in the language you need it to.
